Keyless Entry

The Alarm system can be connected to the vehicles standarded factory fitted central door locking to give remote keyless entry (remote locking) Some cars may need an additional motor fitted to the driverside door as an extra. this controls the standard locking. Most japanese cars. The way to test if your vehicle needs an additional motor is to lock the doors from the passenger side door. If all the doors lock then a motor is not needed.Cars with out any form of central door locking can be fitted with aftermarket actuators kits (Please call/email if you are unsure if your car needs this)

Deadlocks

Most cars built after 1999 are fitted with deadlocks which can be connected and controlled by the alarm system. These can be activated via the alarms remote.

Total closure.

Most new cars are fitted with total closure as standard. This can be connected to the alarm system to roll your windows up automatically with the push of a button on your remote. Some older cars have not got this feature as standard. These vehicles will need a window closure module (Please note this is an extra) Once wired in The module can automatically roll up two power windows when a security system is armed.To find out isf your car has this fitted as standard, close all the vehicles doorswith the windows open and lock the car from the driverside outer door lock with the key. keep the key turned over in the lock position for 3-5 seconds. It the windows start to close then the extra window module is not needed

Now you can remote start or lock and unlock your car just by pushing a button on your iPhone or iPod Touch; using the exciting new Viper SmartStart app from Directed Electronics, the leader in vehicle security and remote start. Remote Engine Starting

Suitable for manual and automatic gearboxes, Remote engine start allows you to start the car before you get in. In the summer you can use remote start to cool the car down via its air conditioning and in the winter, use it to warm both the engine and interior. Just the touch of a button starts the engine, but leaves the doors still locked and the alarm still on.

Dual Shock Sensor

The most effective protection against shock/impact. Uses patented electromagnetic technology to eliminate mechanical parts. Two outputs are provided. The first offers a Warn Away® response on light impact and the second instantly triggers the alarm on hard impact. Draws less than 1mA. Includes the plug-in harness for all alarms with the standard 4 pin sensor input plug. Plug may be cut off harness for non-plug-in applications. This sensor is compatible with Clifford Viper, Hornet and Avital Alarms.

Digital Dual Zone Proximity Sensor

This digital signal processing (DSP) radar sensor's outer perimeter warning zone provides an invisible shield up to a foot outside the closed windows and convertible top. The interior zone instantly blasts the full alarm if someone leans into the passenger compartment. Especially recommended for convertibles and other soft-sided or open vehicles.

Audio Glass Break Sensor

Enhance the security of any install with an optional audio sensor, which detects tampering and breaking of the vehicle’s glass using a microphone and a microprocessor, which analyzes the frequency, intensity and timing of intrusion sounds to eliminate false alarms.

Ultrasonic Sensor

Interior Movement Sensor
The Ultrasonic Sensor is used to provide coverage of a vehicle’s interior cabin area. The sensor detects movement inside the vehicle by sensing air disturbance. They should trigger the alarm if a thief has gained access to the interior of your vehicle.

Digital Tilt Motion Sensor

Detects even minor lifting or rolling of the vehicle without any of the false alarms common to all other tilt and motion sensors. Advanced design allows maximum stability in extreme conditions. Motion can be turned off for tilt only sensing. A must for vehicles with upgraded wheels and tires. Automatically self-adjusting.

Viper Electro-Luminescent Indicator

The optional brilliant blinking “E-L Badge” from Viper/Clifford calls attention to itself (especially at night) and conveys a powerful message to would-be car thieves: “This vehicle is protected by Viper,Clifford – better leave it alone and try to steal someone else’s car instead!”

Anti-Carjacking and Vehicle Self Recovery System

BlackJax is Clifford's unique anti-carjacking response system that puts personal safety first while using innovative advancements to ensure that users can recover the vehicle themselves. If an armed car thief approaches - whether at a stop light or in a parking lot (where most carjackings occur) - immediately turn over the keys and remote and let Clifford technology take over.Fully automatic: No buttons or transmitters to push when a gun is involved. Just get away from the vehicle. Quick response: BlackJax allows the criminal to drive away a safe distance. Then, a few seconds later, BlackJax blares the siren and flashes the lights to alert other drivers and witnesses. It then pulses down the ignition system to safely force the vehicle to slow to a complete stop. SmartWindows

Remote Power Window Control
More Power to Power Windows. Open, close and vent the car's power windows using the G5 security system remote control. SmartWindows also adds extra features inside the vehicle: one tap fully open, one tap fully closed. Tap the switch during roll-up and roll-down to instantly stop the window. Vent opening is selectable via the CliffNet Wizard, and can be vented repeatedly after remote arming. The SmartWindows Safety Stop feature halts window movement if there is an obstruction.

Voice module

Add pre-programmed messages in either English or Japanese to your security system as an adjunct to the siren, including Viper specific messages (i.e. “Viper armed!”) Users can also record custom messages. Voice modules are also effective when used to generate Warn Away messages in conjunction with an optional 508D Radar sensor. The 516L can also be used as a P.A. system.

Immobiliser Bypass module for remote start

This unique device is designed to temporarily bypass most transponder type immobiliser systems when remote starting. The system works by using one of your spare keys to transmit the uniquely coded signal to the receiver coil in the key cylinder.

The key is placed inside the bypass module which is then located in a secure place under the dashboard. A lead then runs from this and loops around the ignition barrel.

The coded signal identifies to the vehicles computer that a valid key is present and thereby enabling remote starting. The unit will only operate as a bypass when the vehicle has been remote started.

Boot pop

Every one of our alarm system offers a “Power Trunk/Channel 2” output, but not every vehicle has a powered trunk release that can be operated by this ouput. This actuator can be add to Power Trunk capability to your trunk release mechanism, allowing your alarm system to pop the trunk with the push of a button.

Thieves' Worst Enemy. The world's most advanced and dependable siren for G5 systems. Its built-in battery allows this siren to keep on wailing even if the wires are cut! And its G5 Digital ComLink will detect wire tampering that thieves use to bypass other battery-backed sirens. Its smart charging system won't drain your car battery like other sirens of this type. It will even warn you if the internal battery charge is very low. No override keys are needed like other such sirens. Provides Personalized Siren Sounds even on Clifford G5 security systems lacking that feature (selecting from among 15 different sounds via CliffNet Wizard.)

Roll your windows up automatically with the push of a button on your remote using the optional window closure module. The Remote Control Window Automation System controls the operation of two windows. The module can automatically roll up two power windows when a security system is armed.
